Zakład Przemysłu Drzewnego ROMA Sp. z o.o. has been around on the market since December 2001. However, the history of the sawmill in Gołańcz goes back to 1918. Since then, it has had its ups and downs. From 1950s until 2001, when it was acquired by its present owners, it had been one of state-owned plants.
From early on, the company has been developing dynamically, constantly expanding its group of clients, both in Poland and abroad. The key to success is the top-quality of products, taken care of by experienced managerial team, as well as the individual approach to each and every client.
Most part of the production, about 70%, goes to the Western European market, whereas the remaining part is sold on the national market. We accept both wholesale and individual orders.
The annual volume of processed wood, mainly pinewood, amounts to about 27,000 m3. Our drying-houses are computer-controlled. We also provide pressure impregnation and impregnation by immersion.
